The Joker's Word, Everything's a Verb

For my birthday, Kris got me Adam West Naked! which is basically Adam West’s behind the scenes reminiscing of the Batman TV series, which has made us nostalgic for the classics.

There is no better way to describe the documentary other than Adam Westesque as it is literally nothing more than Adam West sitting in front of the camera (in his basement or garage or attic) talking about how much fun it was to be Batman. It’s a lot of fun to watch and some of the random stories he has are hilarious. I really hope that Fox and Warner Bros will settle their distribution rights dispute so that we’ll see the series in stores.

Nicola Scott is joining the Superman creative team to help out with issues 3, 5, and 6. Ret-conned HQ is a big fan of Scott’s art and she’s been missed from The New 52. It’s awesome that she’ll be working on Superman, but its disappointing that this book has been such a disappointment. I can’t say that the New 52 Superman is worse than the Grounded storyline that ended the last run of Superman but it has definitely been a disappointment. Hopefully when Giffen & Jurgens take over the book with issue 7, things will turn around.
