So, about Catwoman, it’s - uh - we really can’t believe how bad it is. Kris is secretly hoping that this is some sort of weird fever dream and that come issue #5 Selina’s going to wake up and go “That was some bad catnip” and then the real comic will start. Feral really is the first thing that came to mind reading Catwoman #2 and I still think it’s an apt description for what this version of Selina Kyle is like. If that’s the direction that Judd Winick wants to go with it, that’s fine but it’s pretty disappointing.

Just like they did for The Dark Knight, Warner Bros will be releasing a six-minute prologue for The Dark Knight Rises before the IMAX version of Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. Nolan is a big fan of the IMAX format and has apparently shot a large chunk (if not all) of the film using IMAX footage. Apparently, this will only occur for the 70mm IMAX screens and not the digital IMAX screens, that are actually a lower resolution than the traditional IMAX. I didn’t even know that there were different types of IMAX formats, which meant I spent way too much time reading about them on Wikipedia. While I’d love to see some DKR footage, I’m not sure that will overcome my disinterest in Mission:Impossible, but stranger things have happened.
