Somebody get the hose...

Has anyone else noticed how I can draw Al pretty much the same, but Kyle looks different in almost every strip? Maybe it’s some sort of subconscious self image thing. Or maybe I just need to practice more.

As the comic says, Trav is really swamped at work with his current project. He’s been working 10-12 hour days, except Wednesdays of course. Hopefully, once his project throttles back slightly, we’ll be able to finally put the time into the Ret-Conned site we’ve been wanting to.

There has been a lot of discussion around Ret-Conned HQ about where we want to go with our site and the comic. Obviously there are many schools of thought, but we want to make sure to stay true to our original mission statement. So as soon as we figure out our original mission statement, we’ll be sure to stay true to that.

From my side if the equation, I’m just hoping the art continues to improve at the same rate as it has up until this point. I’m experimenting with different layouts as well as color. I know, CRAZY!

I’ve mentioned before that I’m now using Manga Studio 4. As much as I would like to give you a full and detailed review, I haven’t even begun to delve deep enough into the program to tell you what all it can and can’t do. Barring a few features from Pixelmator I’ve had to work around, I can tell you that Manga Studio does everything I have asked it to do and more. I’m plan on using Manga Studio to produce Ret-Conned for the near and present future, and I hope to start using it to produce other art.

So stay tuned to Ret-Conned, because we’re going to keep doing this whether you do or not, so why wouldn’t you? And if you feel you have a suggestion for what we should do, drop us a line. Until next time, keep watching the skis! I mean skies…
