HULK SMASH PUNY HYDROGEN ATOMS!

The inspiration for this joke came from a friend, but we’ve both found ourselves in similar situations.

This week Superman #700 goes on sale. It’s a huge milestone and at an issue a month, makes one understand why the Last Son of Krypton has become such an iconic character. After this J. Michael Straczynski takes the reins of both Superman and Wonder Woman. I loved JMS’s TV work and both Kris and I have been enjoying his run on Brave & the Bold. I’m not a huge fan of Clark and Diana, but hopefully he can do something great for both. Kris keeps insisting they are part of the Trinity for a reason.

Character Bio: Juan

Name: Juan Paolo Emilio Herrera-Ortiz

Occupation: Whatever you need

Powers: Strength, Pop Culture Vision, Always knows a guy who can get you what you need for cheap, Owns a Truck

Likes: Home Brewed Beer, World of Warcraft, Deadpool

Dislikes: Confusing Comic Storylines, Statistics, Letting Go of Old Technology

Juan is a rare friend for Al and Kyle mainly because he is still so very normal. While Juan enjoys reading comics, he is not as narrowly focused as Al and Kyle. He also enjoys playing World of Warcraft, listening to music, and watching everything he can find on TV. With a head filled with a maelstrom of pop culture knowledge, Juan has the unique ability to see and mentally connect trivial, real-world contexts into pop culture references. Juan drives a truck, which means he’s constantly conscripted to haul things. Although not difficult to achieve, Juan is stronger than Al or Kyle. His feats of ordinary strength have garnered their respect and awe.
