There can only be one.

Travis Brightest Day #1 started today to answer the question: “Who is the White Lantern?” Whoever it is, they’ll need to be super strong and are probably not either of our two heroes. Doesn’t Al know he should lift with his legs not his back? He’s liable to hurt himself.
Kris and I are trying to figure out some other interesting stuff to add to the site. We’re thinking longer comic reviews or general rants about the the comic world. Kris has a big one brewing about Grant Morrison, but I don’t want to steal his thunder. If you have an ideas of things you’d like to see, drop us a line on ye old Batphone. :::Points to the right:::: =====>>>
Travis, what’s on your pull list?
- I, Zombie #1 - New Vertigo series about a woman who’s a zombie gravedigger who has to eat a brain a month to keep her memories. It’s only a dollar, so worth a look.
- Red Robin #12 - Tim Drake has become one of my favorite characters in the Bat Family besides Stephanie Brown (Batgirl).
- Secret Six #21 - Gail Simone knocks another one out of the park. Not for the faint of heart.
Kris, what’s on your pull list?
- Angel Barbary Coast #2 - The first issue of this mini was put in my box on accident. It only took me a couple of pages to get hooked.
- Brightest Day #1 - AQUAMAN!!! This series has already proved to be carrying the ‘no holds barred’ attitude of Blackest Night.
- Batman Confidential #44 - ZOMBIES! It’s Batman vs. Zombies, the real question is, why haven’t you already picked it up?
- Batman & Robin #12 - I’ll save the rant for a later date, but I need to say, while I’ve enjoyed several of his book, I really don’t care for the way Grant Morrison is handling the aftermath of Batman RIP. It seems far too disconnected from the rest of the Batman books.
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer #35 - I was mere inches away from dropping this from my pull list, but this issue really turned it around.
- Doom Patrol #10 - This book is weird and crazy, and is absolutely one of my must reads.
- Iron Man 2 Public Identity #2 - Bridging Iron Man 1 and Iron Man 2, this book is really getting me excited for the movie.
- I, Zombie #1 - I picked this book up because it has Zombie in the title.
- JSA All-Stars #6 - Great book, and ties into the Blackest Night JSA. I’m excited for the next arc.
- Red Robin #12 - Now this is a good book about Bruce Wayne being lost in time. The cameo by the Teen Titans was great.
- Secret Six #21 - Great writing, great art, the most consistently good book out there. If you aren’t pulling it, you are missing out.
- Superman: War of the Supermen #1 - HOLY SHNIKES!!! I did not see that coming. I just want to give Supergirl a hug.
