Duck Tales! Whoohoo!

Travis More than once while we’ve been organizing Kris’s collection we’ve found ourselves sitting in the middle of a room with comics spread out all around us. It’s been very difficult to resist the urge to roll around in them and laughing maniacally.
Kris, what’s on your pull list?
- Brave and the Bold #34 - JMS continues to impress me, add that to my love of Doom Patrol and sudden interest in the Legion of Super-Heroes, and I couldn’t pass this book up.
- Detective Comics #865 - Still no Batwoman… But a good read and the Question second feature is still top notch.
- Gotham City Sirens #12 - No Paul Dini, but still a good issue. I love the image of Harley Quinn jumping across rooftops with a giant hammer strapped to her back.
- Green Lantern #54 - RAGE CAT! DEFENDER OF THE WEAK! Dex Star is the greatest character created in the past 10 years. Oh yeah, and this issue is pretty good too.
- Green Lantern Corps #48 - Several interesting storylines started in this book, in spite of very little actually happening.
- Justice League: Generation Lost #2 - There is just something about Ice’s furry boots that makes me love her even more. I love Booster’s outrage and hope it continues.
- Justice League: Rise of Arsenal #3 - This feels really half-assed and under developed. I hope Arsenal will improve when he makes his return to Titans.
- Power Girl #12 - Oddly erotic mood waterfall scene, with Terra and Power Girl wearing barely there mood bikinis. Still a great old school comic story.
- Teen Titans #83 - Decent story, very heavy with teen angst. New second feature started off weak, hope it improves.
- War of the Supermen #4 - Wrapped up too fast, each fight could have been given it’s own issue.
- Wonder Woman #44 - Gail Simone’s run was cut short because of the impending Wonder Woman #600. It would have been interesting to see what could have been done with it.
Travis, what’s on your pull list?
- Detective Comics #865 - The end of the a look inside Arkham Asylum and the madness of Dr. Jeremiah Arkham. I’m really interested in seeing how this is going to affect the rest of the Batscape.
- Gotham City Sirens #12 - The return of Catwoman’s crazy sister who awoke from her catatonic state (no pun intended) in the resurrected Catwoman #83 Blackest Night tie-in.
- Catwoman: Relentless - Collects Catwoman #12-19, which includes the story arc where Selina’s sister is kidnapped, tortured, and left in the aforementioned catatonic state.
