Now that I'm done washing away the shame, I can provide visual proof of the success of reorganizing Kris's comics. The long boxes Kris was using before was fine when his collection was smaller, but once it hit 1400+ it became a little unwieldy.
Overall, it was a good sale. I was able to pick up the rest of the Batman: War Games story arc, the missing half of Batman & the Mad Monk, plus some issues of Red Robin I was missing. This should be the last of the older Batman stuff I plan to get, although The Gnome has other ideas. The Gnome got Batgirl: Year One and Robin: Year One, so she is quite pleased with herself.
Of course, the sale item I'm most excited about, I don't have yet. One of the great things about shopping at Bedrock is that if our Washington Ave location doesn't have something, it's a good chance that one of the other three locations will. A quick phone call and a couple of days later it'll be waiting in my box, which means when I go Wednesday I'll be able to pick up Birds of Prey #64, which will give me all of Gail Simone's original run of Birds of Prey (#56-108) until the end of the series (#127). Awesome.
