My Shoulder Rockets are Backordered...

We haven’t actually seen Iron Man yet, but we’re definitely looking forward to it. We might try to fit it in after Bedrock City’s spring sale.

This has been an awesome week for comics, so we’re going to jump straight into the most important part of a Thursday post.

Kris, what’s on your pull list?

  • Adventure Comics #11 - I’m excited of about the Legion of Superheroes book coming next week, but I could care less about Brainiacs 2-5.

  • Batgirl #10 - I love this book more and more with every issue.

  • Batman #699 - Batman vs. Riddler, this is what comics are all about.

  • Birds of Prey #1 - Gail Simone writing strong, brilliant women.

  • Booster Gold #32 - New writing team, not quite as good as Dan Jurgens, but it’s tying into Generation Lost.

  • The Flash #2 - Geoff Johns is writing Flash. Geoff Johns writing Flash is why I read comics. And the art in amazing.

  • Iron Man 2: Public Identity #3 (of 3) - The movie came out last weekend, but I’m glad I got to finish this series before seeing it.

  • Justice League: Generation Lost #1 - Take three characters we’ve seen far too little of, add them to Booster Gold, and put them up against Max Lord. Wait, who’s Max Lord?

  • Superman: War of the Supermen #2 (of 4) - Seriously? If they keep uping the game each issue, there is going to be very little left standing when this is over.

  • Titans Special: Villians For Hire - Deathstroke proving why he will always be in contention for the title “Baddest Man on the Planet.”

Travis, what’s on your pull list?

  • Batgirl #10 - The Calculator is back making life difficult for everybody. It’s Babs, Batgirl, AND the Calculator in one issue. Awesome!

  • Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne #1 - Meh.

  • Birds of Prey #1 - I wrote a comic that was just Al going “SQUEEE” for four panels because Birds of Prey was back. Other then one issue, I have all of Gail Simone’s original run of BoP until the end of the series (#56-127). I love this book.

  • Unwritten #13 - This story is completely different from anything else I’ve read and I love every minute of it.
