Batteries Not Included

Brightest Day started this week and just from issue #0, it looks like it’s going to be a fun story.  Unfortunately, it might be a brighter day for some then for others.

We’re slowly starting to get the site more exciting then a single page with a comic and a blog post.  You’ll notice up in the menu bar we now have an archives page of all five (5!!) of our comics as well as an About page with the 100% true story of the origins of me, your humble narrator, and Kris, your humble illustrator.  I’m going to redesign the site away from the boring white template soon-ish.  If I’m lucky, I’ll procrastinate long enough that Kris will do it himself in exasperation.

If you haven’t already noticed the comic theme of the comic (put like that, it makes things sound pretty meta) and site, we’re going to add to it with a new feature “What’s On Your Pull List?” where every Thursday we’ll list the new comics we got the day before.  Most of the time, Kris’s list is pretty easy: whatever DC published this week.  Other times you might see something more interesting from one or the both of us.  For this first go-round, it’s just going to be a straight list. Next week we’ll start adding notes on why we pulled what we pulled.
