Kris “Ice Frog” Loukas was a hot-shot test pilot, cocky and without a care in the world, until the fateful day when a strange light plucked him out of his super-secret experimental X-5400 test fighter.  The green light brought Kris to the wreckage of strange craft where a dying alien entrusted him with a great gift, a glowing quill pen.  Kris “Ice Frog” Loukas had become the first human member of the Green Quill Corp, their mission to fill their respective sectors with art of such renowned grace and beauty that it would bring peace and harmony to all the Universe.  Kris excitedly accepted the offer and went off to make the world a better place.  Unfortunately, the US Department of Defense had different plans for him as they were quite upset at the loss of a $140 million investment as their X-5400 fighter crashed into the New Mexican desert when it’s pilot decided to take a break in midair to go hang out with an undocumented alien who entered our sovereign soil without passing through Intergalactic Customs.  Dishearted, Kris was forced to pawn his Power Quill and now works tirelessly to pay off his insurmountable personal debt.  He still tries to follow the mission of the Green Quill Corp, hoping that this web comic and his Loukas Arts blog might bring a small bit of happiness to the Internet denizens who happen to come across it.

Travis Fischer was just another mild mannered programmer with no life, no hobbies, and no social skills. Then one day while under his desk plugging in a new computer, his Super Grande Triple-Shot Half-Fat Double-Cafe Mocha Cappuccino was knocked off the desk and onto the the surge protector below. When Travis woke up from his electrically induced coma, he found not only was his hair now awesome and spiky, but he had super speed. He had all of the expected super-speed skills like running fast, changing clothes in a blur, and talking to girls, but he also now had super-fast programming skills. After talking with other superheroes about the importance of making a difference in our world, Travis decided to use his faster than light programming skills for good and became the Hacker Flash. As the Hacker Flash, Travis tirelessly works to create the ultimate computer program that will teach humanity right from wrong and usher in a new era of peace and tranquility. While waiting for his computer to catch up to his super fast typing, he also writes this web comic and occasionally blogs.
